MJ thought he was going to be stuck doing work he hates forever.

MJ thought he was going to be stuck doing work he hates forever.

But our “Unload Your Workload” session changed that.

1. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁.

MJ’s brand and expertise are what bring his clients in.

The clients he’s had the longest are used to working with him directly.

And even though it proves he’s good at what he does, that’s exactly why he’s stuck.

2. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝘆.

Here are his main challenges:

- Revenue is good, but plateaued recently.

- Strategic work keeps getting pushed to the back burner.

- He wants to be the CEO running his business, not an expert working in it.

3. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘄.

So we took a closer look at his workload.

We developed a plan to delegate some tasks he was ready to hand off.

Then we started looking at the work that drained him, but he had still flagged as keep forever.

In the end, we figured out that he can delegate tasks he hates to another high-level subject matter expert on his team (who he trained) –

So that all he does is review & make tweaks based on his expertise and knowledge of the client.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀.

- MJ got 4+ hours per week back to focus on strategic work that moves the needle.

- Projects will get done faster and be more profitable because he’s no longer the bottleneck and his staff’s hourly bill rate is lower.

- Tasks MJ handed off will require less & less of his time as people’s skills improve, giving him another 2+ hours back.

- MJ was able to bring on 2 new 5-figure clients.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀.

- Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

- You’re too close to your business to see “obvious issues” and “obvious fixes.”

- Bringing in an advisor helps you skip months (or even years) of trial and error.
